Program Facts
The Dunedin Fine Art Center's Mini Masters Program is for children 4.5 years to 5 years of age. Participants must be entering kindergarten in the Fall of 2008. For more information call the Dunedin Fine Art Center at 727-298-3322.

Themes and Dates:
Week 1 June 9-13
Colorful critters- Mini master’s love the outdoors, especially around the swing set in the back yard. Create a world of ants, slugs, and worms through the magic of art.
Week 2 June 16-20
Edible art- Some art looks too good to eat, and some looks good enough to eat, and some is just fun to make. Join the mini masters on a delicious and colorful journey in the art studio kitchen.
Week 3 June 23-27
Take a Magic Carpet Ride- Aladdin isn’t the only one who likes to explore the mysteries of the world. Find out about ancient India, and the pyramids of Egypt from high in the clouds (or the skies of our imagination).
Week 4 June 30-July 3 ( No class July 4)
Spiders and Snakes- What crawls, rattles, hisses, and spins? Why mini-masters of course-especially when they are crafting the beauty of our slithery friends. Learn to appreciate nature from a totally colorful vantage point.
Week 5 July 7-11
Pop Art Fun- Who new everyday objects could be so much fun. Mini Master’s can find out about the art of the sixties, and create a totally contemporary spin on groovy art. Like far out man!
Week 6 July 14-18
Friends in the Sea- Mermaids, whales, manatees, even sharks are things of beauty. The Mini Master’s will create a whole collection of images and sculptures to capture the colors of the sea.
Week 7 July 21-25
Art Machines- Gizmos and gadgets aren’t just for scientist and engineers, but budding ones too. Mini masters will become art engineers in this class on creative fun.
Week 8 July 28-Aug 1
Ghost and Goblins- Booooooo! Who’s there? Why it’s the Mini Master’s of course, exploring haunted mansions, and ancient graveyards without fear. After all, paintings, and clay make it all make believe fun.
Week 9 August 4-8
Outer space- Will Robinson, Will Robinson! The Mini Masters have just landed on Mars, and wait until you see what they learn and create on the angry red planet. They might even make an alien.
Week 10 August 11-15
Puppet Fun- Puppets come in all shapes and sizes, but the one thing they have in common is their Mini Master Puppet master’s. Students will enjoy crafting, and acting with their own puppet creations. Even Pinocchio would be impressed.
